PSDN is pleased to offer the Job Placement and Employment Retention program. This program is designed to connect unemployed Albertans experiencing difficulties in obtaining and maintaining employment with prospective employers, providing employment as quickly as possible.

 
Participants Will Receive:

    •  Support and guidance in the management of life and work challenges
    •  Identification of jobs that the client has the capability to realistically
          perform
    •  Intensive Case Management and support in reaching goal realization
          to 270 days
    •  Individualized Investment Plans to meet each participant's unique
          circumstances and employment goals
    •  Employment that offers a reasonable rate of pay and is sustainable
    •  Provide access to resources for the securing and maintenance of
          long-term employment
    •  One-on-One coaching and support
    •  Supportive and encouraging staff
    •  Ongoing reviews to ensure success
    •  Follow-up services

When?

    • Continuous intakes
    • Daily one on one support
    • 9 month follow up services

Eligibility

    • Unemployed and marginally employed
    • Resident of Alberta
    • Legally entitled to work in Canada
    • 18 years of age or older

Job Placement

    • Realistic and appropriate job placement
    • Resume provided with Interview preparation
    • One on one employment and life management consultation
